Creating Space for Women to Lead, Grow & Be Heard
Girls Adventures Tanzania was created around a simple belief: travel can open doors not only for visitors, but also for the people and communities connected to the journey.

A Different Kind of Tourism Story
Tourism is more than destinations, accommodation and activities. It is also about people, opportunities and the communities that make Tanzania what it is.
Girls Adventures Tanzania brings a woman-led perspective into that journey, connecting tourism with meaningful experiences, local relationships and community-focused work.
The vision is not simply to create trips. It is to create opportunities for people to participate, learn, grow and be part of Tanzania’s tourism story.
“When women have opportunities to lead, communities gain new voices, new ideas and new possibilities.”
Women With Opportunity
We believe women should have opportunities to participate in tourism, develop their skills, share their knowledge and contribute their own perspectives.
Young People With Possibility
Supporting young people through knowledge, encouragement and meaningful opportunities can help create stronger communities and wider possibilities for the future.
Travel With a Purpose
Every journey creates connections. We want those connections to encourage respect for local communities, cultures, people and the places travellers come to experience.
Travel Can Be Part of Something Bigger
Discover Tanzania while staying connected to the people and communities behind the destination.
A Journey Designed Around You
Tanzania offers many ways to travel. Our role is to listen to what matters to you, understand the kind of experience you are looking for, and help turn those ideas into a journey that feels personal.

Your Travel Style Comes First
Some travellers dream of standing on the summit of Kilimanjaro. Others want long days watching wildlife, discovering local culture, relaxing by the Indian Ocean, or combining several experiences into one Tanzania adventure.
There is no single way to experience Tanzania. That is why our approach begins with conversation — understanding your interests, pace, priorities and the kind of memories you want to take home.
From there, our local perspective helps shape the details around your journey.
Listen
We start by understanding your interests, expectations, travel style and what you hope to experience in Tanzania.
Shape
We bring together destinations, activities, timing and travel details to create a journey that fits your plans.
Prepare
Before you travel, we help you understand the practical details so you can arrive prepared and ready for the experience.
Experience
Then the planning becomes your adventure — from mountain trails and wildlife encounters to cultural experiences and coastal escapes.
We Know the Destination. You Bring the Dream.
Our local perspective helps connect your ideas with the places, people and experiences that make Tanzania special. The goal is simple: create a journey that feels considered rather than copied.

Questions About Climbing Kilimanjaro
Which Kilimanjaro route should I choose?
The best route depends on your experience, available time, preferred scenery, pace and acclimatization needs. Girls Adventures Tanzania offers several route options, including Lemosho, Machame, Rongai, Marangu, Northern Circuit and Umbwe.
If you are unsure which route fits you, contact our team and we can discuss the options with you before you decide.
How many days should I spend climbing Kilimanjaro?
Kilimanjaro itineraries vary by route and number of trekking days. Longer itineraries can provide additional time on the mountain and more opportunities for acclimatization.
We recommend choosing an itinerary based on the route, your personal circumstances and the guidance of your trekking team rather than simply choosing the shortest option.
What should I pack for Kilimanjaro?
Your packing list depends on the season and route, but essential categories include suitable hiking footwear, warm layers, waterproof clothing, a daypack, sleeping equipment, sun protection, personal medication and appropriate hydration equipment.
Our detailed Kilimanjaro Packing List provides a more complete guide to what to bring.
Can I rent Kilimanjaro equipment in Tanzania?
Yes. Girls Adventures Tanzania provides information on equipment that can be rented in Moshi or Arusha, including items such as sleeping bags, hiking poles, boots, jackets and other trekking gear.

Your final itinerary can be discussed with our travel team based on your interests and available time.
What type of accommodation can I choose?
Safari accommodation can range from more simple options to mid-range and luxury lodges and tented camps, depending on the destination and itinerary.
Tanzania also offers different styles of accommodation in Zanzibar and around Kilimanjaro and Arusha.
Can I combine a safari with Zanzibar?

Yes. Our trip planning can be discussed around different types of travellers, including private, individual, family and group travel.
The itinerary can then be shaped around the group’s interests, timing and preferred travel style.
How far in advance should I plan my trip?
